So we stopped for the night in a motel in Illinois. It's CRAZY hot ad sticky, there's actually have extreme heat warnings in place. the trailer was over 100 degrees, so it was the only real option. We had a good day of driving, everything is going smoothly, thank for all your travel prayers!! Ruby is a great little copilot, though she seems to fall asleep on the job quite a bit.
We saw a few pretty cool things, including this (sorry it's hard to see):
If you can't see it, it's a horse and buggy crossing over the overpass, pretty nifty.
We are making good time so far, but we need our rest tonight for another long day tomorrow, and apparently so does Shasta..
